Ladies Australian Open Championship

 The Women's Australian Open holds a special place in the heart of Australian golf.

11 - 14 March 2010 - Commonwealth Golf Club, Melbourne, Victoria

Since its inception in 1974, the championship has continually attracted world golf's elite players to compete for the Patricia Bridges Bowl.

Framed by wattle, the trophy has been lifted by world number ones, World Golf Hall of Fame members and Major winners alike.

It is the national celebration of Australian women's golf.

 The previous winner  - 2009 - Laura Davies (ENGLAND) (285) Metropolitan Golf Club, VIC, who will be defending her title.

 The event is being played at The Commonwealth Golf Club, Melbourne, Victoria.
